This performance was most recently performed in the gallery space, Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun, in Leeds.
I am to spend the night of the PV behind a gallery wall -- with my only contact with the audience being via a glass orb set into the wall.
I pace around behind the walls occasionally bang, whistle and clap and chose specific moments to rest and peer out of/perform through this hole. The circular glass orb not only frames my image but also distortes my body on account of its spherical characteristics.
On the previous performance, I also read out a poem about my journey up to the North, which was muffled and could only be heard by viewers gravitating to the orb.
